ENVIRONMENTAL SUMMARY

Arena Civica is located in the city centre of Milan, Italy. The venue is a 200 year old neoclassical multi-use stadium without a permanent stage setup. The arena is within easy walking distance of the Moscova and Lanza underground stations. There are many tram and bus stops nearby as well.

Parking:

The majority of the audience used public transport links to the event. There was limited car and motorcycle parking available. We were unable to setup bicycle parking for this show.

Energy:

As will be described in a later The Most Gigantic Flying Mouth of Some Time blog posting, we had originally intended to source our electricity from our new Big Battery. Due to a fault within the battery, we had to repair it and use regular municipal energy for the show.

Recycling:

The venue is only used for occasional events and there is no permanent recycling policy in place. The promoter worked out a program with the municipal trash collection service to setup glass, plastic, paper, and plastic recycling for the backstage area.

Catering:

Caterers provided washable plates, cutlery, and biodegradable cups for all meals. Food scraps, tea bags, coffee grounds, and biodegradable cups were collected for deposit in the organic recycling bins.

Concessions:

There weren't any particularly green concessions practices at this venue, but it is meticulously maintained as part of its historical significance.

Thanks to AA Productions for their logistical support.
